HUMAN RESOURCES

Our services in this field is specific to the areas of culture and Talent management. Organizations today are faced with the tedious task of hiring the best and developing a positive, productive and engaged culture. Some of the major challenges H/R face are:

Diversity

Several challenges are entwined with diversity. Primarily, employers are challenged to hire a more diverse workforce and at the same time being concerned about the impact that diversity can have in the bottomline of the corporation. Quality training is paramount and highly required and this can raise expenses but improve the productivity and quality of the products, services and the processes of the organization. Secondly, diversity can and may triggerissues with employees who may provokeone another while they are learning how to deal with their differences. Although this is a challenge, the rewards that a diverse workforce can bring a company often outweigh any issues that may arise.

Employee engagement

Whenever you have different personalities working together there is bound to be conflict and there is bound to be friction from time to time. Teams such as; project teams, development and design teams, administration teams all working under deadline and under pressure may be more apt to have flare-ups of tempers and other issues. Anger management in the workplace is on the rise and corporations need to address this counter-productive element. While in theory it is possible for everyone to get along, it rarely happens. Introducing training to help employees learn how to manage work stress and get along with other people can be very beneficial in handling this challenge.

Handling Customers

All corporations have customers both internal and external customers that bring certain levels of challenges into the mix. While the vast majority of customers and clients that you deal with on a daily basis will be polite and understanding, there is generally an element that is belligerent and hard to handle, the unreasonable and angry customers making it frustrating for employees to handle. This can create frustration among employees as well as managers and company owners. While the idea that the customer is always right is an important credo to follow, it is also necessary to train employees and managers in handling difficult customers and clients.

Motivation and Productivity

Workforce motivation and inspirations directly impacts the productivity and profitability of a company. If employees are lacking in motivation and engagement, chances are they are not performing effectively and, as such, the company is suffering. It is important to find ways to motivate your employees and this can be a challenge simply because everyone has different motivating factors. What works for one employee may not work for another. In order to surmount this challenge, managers and company owners need to find several different motivators that appeal to a wide variety of employees — such as monetary rewards, paid time off, bonuses, promotions and daily job incentives.
